REQUIREMENT
A minimalist architecturally designed family home in Coatesville. This kitchen was designed as a galley style catering to the large casual dining/living room at the front of the house.
The brief was to keep symmetry, simplicity and monochrome colours, at the fore front allowing brightly coloured soft furnishings and artwork to become the feature of the space.
The back wall of the kitchen incorporates all 3-drawer systems with glass + aluminium on bench units. The glass + aluminium add interest in details creating different textures and surfaces without adding colour, Modern stainless steel appliances were chosen to enhance the monochromatic colour way.
The large island bench works as a breakfast bar/work surface. An over sized single sink and integrated dishwasher, creates a fully functional island wet area.
The under bench microwave in the island also allows for clean lines and perfect symmetry on the back wall.
